With as many engagement sessions that I’ve done, the one thing that makes me the happiest is when the couple already has an idea of a few types of photos that they’d like. Not only did Stella and Eric already have some great ideas, they had PROPS!! We had a hula-hoop, chalkboard, pinwheels, books, Nintendo DS’s, and more. If you come this prepared to an e-session, your photos are bound to turn out 200% better.
Now not only do you need good ideas and possibly props, but you need a great attitude. Both Stella and Eric were so much fun, but like everyone a little nervous at first. This is just another reason why an engagement session long then 1 hour is usually preferred. It gets the butterflies out and once Eric and Stella had a few photos taken, they were off like natural models. They smiled, they took direction, and they had their own ideas.
Later we headed up to Malibu for some beautiful yellow wild flowers and a sunset near the water. A fun session, a fun couple, and the perfect time of year. Thanks to Stella and Eric for everything and I can’t wait for your wedding next May!!
