It is a pleasure to photograph Ivan and Laura for their engagement session. Super nice people, loving the downtown travel theme, and being big foodies, I was happy we choose Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles and then Olvera Street for the back alley of shops and food marts. It was a little cloudy of a day, but it turned out great and we had a blast.
From eating Churros at Mr. Churro to finding a fun toy hand to put her ring on, we walked around both areas and got some great photos. On top of just some great smiles and loving hugs, they also brought a few fun props, which I always enjoy to help tell their story and show their typical interaction with each other. Engagement sessions are meant to be fun, not all formal and stuffy.
I’m really looking forward to their wedding this year and expect many more awesome photos and moments with them later. Congrats to you both!!
