Sherman’s, who are they? Well it’s my sisters new last name. My sister, Amy, got married in May to Clark Sherman, who I had yet to meet. I couldn’t make the wedding due to finals for school, but was anxious to meet him. I grabbed Allison and we headed up to meet with them on their honeymoon in Santa Barbara. He was as nice as my family had said and fit with my sister very well. It was nice to get to know him during our dinners and of course during the wine tastings. As they didn’t have any engagement photos, I tried my best to get a few good shots of them during the trip.
We ate, we drank, and we toured the vineyards. We hit 2 new ones that I hadn’t been to. Zaca Mesa, which had a very tasty Viognier, and Melville which 2 very nice Pinot Noirs. The other stop was at Fess Parker, which I had tasted before and was fairly happy with their selections. We headed back to Santa Barbara for one last Italian dinner at Palazzio on State Street. Very delicious and highly recommended.
